Join us on a journey where every step counts, every stride empowers, and every finish line is a victory for our community! The MK Charity Run is more than a race – it’s a movement to uplift the vulnerable and bring hope to those who need it most.
5K Charity Run
- A 5-kilometer run for individuals (open category).
- Participants run to support the charity cause.
- Top 3 winners get prizes and cash.
- All WINNERS get a finisher’s medal.
1K Walk:
- A 1-kilometer walk for individuals (all ages).
- A fun, relaxed walk to support the cause.
- Top 3 winners get prizes
Bicycle Race
- A race for cyclists (open category).
- Participants ride bicycles through a designated course.
- Top 3 winners get prizes
Team Relay
- Teams of 4 people will run/walk a relay course.
Tug-of-War
- Teams will compete in a classic tug-of-war competition.
- Best Costume Challenge: Participants will dress up for a charity-themed costume contest.
NOTE: All participants get a finisher’s medal and certificates

Kids’ Games
- Sack Race: Prizes for top 3 kids

- Kids’ Quiz Games
Balloon Burst:
- Kids will be given a balloon and a pin.
- On the whistle blow, kids must burst their balloon by sitting on it, squeezing it, or using the pin.
- The first three kids to burst their balloons win.
Sack Race:
- Kids will be given a sack or a bag to hop through a designated course of 30 meters.
- The race starts with a whistle blow.
- Kids hop to the finish line without stepping out of the sack.
- The first three kids to cross the finish line win.
Mini Obstacle Course:
- A set short course with simple obstacles to weave through, small hurdles to jump over, and small items to crawl under.
- Kids start at the beginning of the course.
- On the whistle blow, they navigate through the obstacles.
- The first three kids to complete the course win.
Kids’ Quiz Competition:
- Age groups: Divide kids into groups (e.g., 5z wdd2q -8 years, 9-12 years).
- Format: Ask simple, fun questions on topics like animals, sports, Uganda, and general knowledge.
- Questions can be multiple-choice or open-ended.
- Kids answer questions individually or in teams.
- Points are given for correct answers.
- The top 3 kids/teams with the most points win.
Winners are determined by the time taken to complete the activity or the first to finish.
