Preparing for Participation in the MK Charity Run 2026

Note: Participation Card is a must have

1. Make sure you are physically fit prior to participation.
2. Make sure that you have the correct sticker for the age group on your number.
3. Please arrive at the start line one hour before the race starts.
4. Keep your receipt with you to participate in the raffle.
5. Parking will be available for Participants near the Event Site (See Map).
6. Water will be available along the route.
7. An ambulance will accompany runners.
8. Scouts will be present along the route to assist runners.
9. Please carry a copy of your identification card (Optional) with you as you may be asked to produce it to confirm your age group.
10. To ensure the validity of the results, all runners must pass through all three recognification stations on the race route.
11. You are not allowed to add any logos or phrases on T-shirts unless approval has been given by the Race Committee.
12. A female committee will be responsible for reviewing participants’ attire and may exclude any participant who does not comply with the set dress code.
13. Awarding the winners will be immediately after the Verification Committee clearance of the Race Recognification stations.

5K RUN

The ‘Muhoozi Kainerugaba Charity Run 2026’ will cover a distance of 3.5km and the starting line will be at Madibira Primary School Play Ground and it will as well be the Finishing spot for the participants in the race.

1K WALK

The ‘Muhoozi Kainerugaba Charity Run 2026’ 1K Walk will cover a distance of 1km and the starting line will be at Sibalala Centre Juction to Madibira Primary School Play Ground which will serve the Finishing spot for the participants in the race. Below is the path Map of the MKCR2026 1K WALK.

BICYCLE RACING

The ‘Muhoozi Kainerugaba Charity Run 2026’ Bicycle race will run from the Event ststaion to Busitema Junction, proceed to Tororo Corner Junction and then to Busia – Madibira Primary School grounds and it will as well be the Finishing spot for the participants in the race.
